When: Wednesday, October 16th, 2024
Where: Hilton Midtown, New York City
What: 16th Annual NYC Real Estate Expo
It was an unseasonably warm day in New York City but the warm weather and bright lights painted the perfect backdrop for the NYC Real Estate Expo.
Taking place in the beautiful Hilton located in Midtown, over 10,000 attendees, all in the real NYC real estate scene gathered to network, share ideas and simply enjoy a day talking real estate.
How did Action Hero get involved?
Through one of our email prospecting campaigns of course!
One of our campaigns reached the organizer of the event, who was open to meeting with Hollis to discuss our services. As expected, he liked what he heard leading to a larger discussion around our partnership.
So, what happened!?
Action Hero managed an email prospecting campaign targeting the following ICPs:
- Real Estate
- Commercial Real Estate
- Investment Banking
- Banking
- Venture Capital
- Capital Markets
- Escrow
- Home Insurance
We tested multiple subject lines and sequences pushing users to both the website and the Eventbrite page. Once we gathered some winning data, a final week campaign blitz pushing ticket sales took us right up to the date of the event.
While ticket sales are a little different from our normal call to action for lead generation brands, all in all, the campaign was very successful.
113,986 emails were sent to 66,532 contacts across all 8 ICPs
These emails led to 1,000+ ticket sales for the event!
The Day of the Event
We had been preparing for about 2 months for the day of the event to make sure we were able to maximize our exposure in such a deep pool of potential partners.
Booth
Hollis and Kyle set up a booth to network and connect with people at the event (booth assets developed by one of our great partners Orenda.
Lead Generation That Actually Works – Hollis 15 Minute Speaking Engagement
Hollis was provided a dedicated room to discuss the work we did for the expo and how we can use those same tactics for other B2B companies in need of lead generation.

We were fortunate enough to get quick interviews from NYC Expo PR partner Hundred Stories as well as the amazing Lucy Edwards at Matterport.
